New Book from Bob Goff

During December and January we loved going through Bob Goff‘s book, Love Does.  It was actually published in 2012, and Bob has a new book coming out 17 May (Kindle version available 17 April).  It’s called Everybody, Always.

In his wildly entertaining and inspiring follow-up to the bestselling phenomenon Love Does, Bob Goff takes readers on a life-altering journey into the secret of living without fear, care, constraint, or worry. The path toward the outsized, unfettered, liberated existence we all long for is found in a truth as simple to say as it is hard to do: love people, even the difficult ones, without distinction and without limits.

Driven by Bob’s trademark hilarious and insightful storytelling, Everybody, Always reveals the lessons Bob learned about what it means to love without inhibition, insecurity, or restriction. From finding the right friends to discovering the upside of failure, Everybody, Always points the way to embodying love by doing the unexpected, the intimidating, the seemingly impossible. Whether losing his shoes while skydiving solo or befriending a Ugandan witch doctor, Bob steps into life with a no-limits embrace of others that is as infectious as it is extraordinarily ordinary. Everybody, Always reveals how we can do the same.

Love Does

This is the video for the song Love Does, that we used as a theme for the Love Does series at Explore in December and January.  It’s written and sung by Brandon Heath.

Bob Goff: He offers to anybody

“He comes from heaven, where He has an amazing love relationship with the Father, which, by it’s nature, is the most beautiful existence any person could have. And he offers that to anybody willing to let go of whatever is giving them a false sense of security.”
― Bob Goff, Love Does

Explore today

You loved the Explore service this morning, the last in our series based on the book Love Does by Bob Goff.

Early in the service we asked each of you to consider Which of the world’s problems makes you feel overwhelmed?  The challenge for this week, was to consider what your next step could be to do something significant about it.  This series has been all about loving people well and living full lives of adventure!
